Saturday at the Garden – Gophers, Voles and Moles, Oh MY!
Saturday, November 22 from 1 PM to 3 PM
Are your plants disappearing in the night? Has your favorite shrub been chewed to a stump? Little mounds popping up in your garden and you don’t know what to do? Don’t worry, we’ve got an expert! Join us at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden to learn more about these vertebrate creatures, how to control them, and how to encourage their predators.
Tami Reece has been a UCCE Master Gardener of San Luis Obispo County for 3 years. Tami has 2 1/2 acres with a 400 square foot vegetable garden. She is constantly trapping or trying other methods to rid her property of gophers, ground squirrels and voles.
Presentation is $5 for members/$10 non-members, to be followed by a free docent-led tour in the Garden at 2 PM. For more information call 805.541.1400×304 or email@example.com.
