How would it feel if you could get your issues behind you and move forward\, once and for all? Let’s do it! \nRegistration for this class is FREE\, with a suggested donation of $10 to $30 (give what you can) the day of the class. DESCRIPTION:Just in time for Valentine’s Day – here’s an opportunity to make a beautiful hand-made heart-shaped wreath for yourself or a loved one. \nLed by artist\, Jayne Devencenzi\, this hands-on workshop will teach you how to make a unique living wreath that can last for years. The wreath frame\, moss\, wire & succulent cuttings will be provided. If you have any succulents growing in your yard\, please feel free to bring cuttings for yourself and/or to share. Anyone aged 13 and up is welcome to participate! \nMembers can enjoy $10 off. DESCRIPTION:Seaweed: Nature’s Ocean Garden \nIn nature\, seaweeds can form forests or dainty gardens in a variety of shapes\, sizes and colors. Learn about them\, places they are found in the ocean and their multiple uses in a slide presentation and large display of fresh and preserved specimens. There will also be some taste testing of the various edible seaweeds and their products. \nFaylla Chapman is a marine biologist with a specialty in seaweeds. She has done extensive field work and research on seaweeds and has taught about them in school settings as well as in the field. She occasionally teaches seaweed cooking classes and is often found in the intertidal looking for her favorite specimens.
