This small group gathering provides support for expectant and postpartum parents/caregivers in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll create a safe space where attendees can connect, reflect, and grow through their shared and lived experience of pregnancy into parenthood.
Participants will gather in the natural setting of the Children’s Garden at the SLO Botanical Garden and will enjoy guest speakers, guided journaling, peer support, and facilitated discussions, all rooted in evidence-based care and holistic wellness.
“Gather and Grow” meets once per week on Thursdays, from 10am until 11:30am from September 25 thru November 13, for an eight-week session.
Our intended audience includes pregnant individuals, new parents/caregivers, and those navigating the transition into parenthood up to one year, with a focus on accessible, inclusive, and facilitated peer support. Refreshments & light snacks will be provided. Please bring a mug plus a journal. Older children up to about age three are welcome and care will be provided in the Children’s Garden.
Cost: $60 for this 8-week session / Plus – Current Garden Membership required.
