Nature Sunday: Fungi by a Fun Guy

Join fungi enthusiast Dennis Sheridan for a short introductory lecture on fungi and observe fresh mushroom specimens found locally.

Then take a walk through the garden to see what fungi can be found. Bring some samples of your own for identification and information about them.

Dennis is a local Renaissance man with a love of just about all things nature, insects, amphibians and mushrooms in particular. His travels and collecting trips have made him very knowledgeable in these areas and he has lots of fun things to add every time he speaks.
