Frequently Asked Questions
Open daily during daylight hours. To visit the Garden after business hours, please pay at the pay station located at the entrance. The lower pathways are composed of decomposed granite and are designed to be ADA compliant; some of the upper pathways are not. Dogs are allowed in the Garden on a leash and we ask that owners please pick up after their pets.
OFFICE, GIFT SHOP, PLANT SHOP AND LIBRARY:
The Gift & Plant Shop is open Every Day from 9:00AM – 5:00PM**
The Library is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00AM – 12Noon or by special arrangement. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Admissions payments can be made in the Gift Shop during operational hours, online, on your phone by scanning the QR code posted near the entrances, or in the “pay station” near the gift shop. Parking fee is paid to park ranger upon entrance.
Admission is $10.00 for adults. Seniors, students and military admission is $8.00, and free for children 12 and under and members. Buy tickets Online HERE, or in the Gift Shop during operational hours, on your phone by scanning the QR code posted near the entrances, or at the pay station near the entrance.
El Chorro Regional Park charges a $3 per vehicle admission fee on weekends and holidays from April through September.
People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a high-quality mask or respirator when indoors in public.
