Volunteer

Get Connected, Get Involved!

The Volunteer Opportunities in the Garden are diverse. Our mission, to connect people and plants, includes many opportunities for volunteers to help support the Garden in all of our organization’s functions. Our current needs include office and clerical workers, retail clerks, library assistants, public relations, marketing, graphic designers, photographers, business development, grant writers, fund-raising, light construction and building maintenance, all facets of event planning, event set-up crew, botanical and environmental educational speakers, artists, musicians, and the list goes on.

Whether you have a few hours each week, each month, or during the year there is a job or task to fit your time allowance and interests. Join us and reap the bounty of satisfying work, meeting new friends and building a world class Botanical Garden.

Download a volunteer application (SLOBG Volunteer Application), fill it out, and email it to education@slobg.org.
