April 7 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$40.00
This class is a dive into the creative process of botanical dyeing. You’ll be introduced to the art form, see some examples, and venture into the garden to forage a variety of plants. Then, we’ll turn found treasures into a physical memory imprinted on a beautiful 12 x 56-inch silk crepe scarf. You’ll be amazed at the results of your creative collaboration with nature that surrounds us on this very special land!
This class is for adults – and children 10+ can sign up with a parent that is also registered for the class.
Join Kathleen Adams Olsen, from Water’s Edge Fiber & Dye for an afternoon of discovery and creativity. Kathleen is a traveler, textile designer, mythologist, and fiber explorer. She brings her love for textiles and nature combined in this plein air botanical dye workshop.
